Once you have finalised a new Pricing Menu (check our guide here) let’s explore how to do a renewal using this new Pricing.

Renewing Proposals with updated Pricing

When creating a renewal (Full or Minor Adjustment) if the Planned Start Date that you pick falls into the time frame that your new Pricing Menu covers, then the system will automatically detect that the old proposal is using old pricing and ask you if you want to migrate.

When you choose to migrate to the latest pricing, the system will attempt to automatically migrate the proposal to this new pricing structure.

Handling Migration Issues

During the migration process, we'll map as much as possible for you, we'll be able to handle simple pricing changes but some services may require manual review. We'll flag specific services where changes have been detected, such as alterations to a pricing driver where we'll need you to make a decision about how to proceed. These will display under "Services that need reviewing before migration".

If you want to see a breakdown of what the service looked like in the previous proposal, then click the clock icon to the right hand side of the service. You'll easily be able to compare and make a decision on what change is needed.

Once you’ve resolved any migration issues, the system will indicate that the proposal is ready with green ticks next to the services that have been successfully migrated. Any unresolved issues will remain at the top with an orange indicator, highlighting areas that still need attention.

In order to finalise the migration, be sure to click the "Complete Migration" button on the top right.
