What are Pricing Templates and Extras?

  • Pricing Templates are different templates that can be used for the proposal itself, for example, setting up certain tiers of service you want to quickly import into a proposal, you can also hide certain services when creating a template.

  • Extras are add-ons that can be included on top of any option, for example, Payroll support, Software, or Additional reporting. The client can choose as many extras as they’d like.

How to Combine Pricing Templates and Extras

Step 1: Create your pricing template with Extras

  1. Navigate to practice settings, and select pricing templates, use the new button to create a new template.

  2. When adding services to your pricing template, use the more actions button and then select 'add as extra' to add extras to your pricing template.

Step 2: Select your pricing template

  1. When creating a proposal, on the general tab, use the section 'Quickstart Templates' and select your created pricing template from the drop down menu.

When you reach the services tab, any pre-selected extras you chose when creating the template will be automatically selected. They will show the 'Extra' logo next to them and will also be displayed in the 'Proposed Extras' section on the right-hand side.

Tips for Best Results

  • Use templates to lock in consistency, then add extras for flexibility.

  • Keep extras relevant and clearly described so clients instantly understand the value.

  • Review templates regularly to ensure pricing stays current and aligned with your practice.
