Overview
Socket Engage includes built-in AI-powered suggestions to help you quickly set up your service schedule templates. These tools use your current pricing menu to recommend relevant templates and automatically match templates to services — saving you time and ensuring consistency between proposals and engagement letters.
This article covers two ways you can use AI suggestions:
Engage Quickstart on the Service Schedule Templates screen
Suggest Templates to use with your Pricing Menu
These two tools work together to allow you to quickly set up your service schedule templates and then assign the schedules to your service.
1. Using the Engage Quickstart Button
What it does
On the Service Schedule Templates page, you’ll find an Engage Quickstart button. This feature scans your pricing menu and suggests service schedule templates it thinks match your services. This helps you quickly build your template library without needing to pick templates manually.
How to use it
Go to Service Schedule Templates from the left hand menu.
Click Engage Quickstart at the top of the screen.
A setup screen will appear showing suggested templates based on your pricing menu.
Click Get Suggestions to generate ideas.
Browse the recommended templates and select the ones you want to add.
Once selected, Socket will generate the service schedules and save them as pre-set templates you can use when creating engagement letters and proposals.
By leveraging this feature, you can quickly populate your service schedule template library using intelligent suggestions without building each template from scratch.
2. Using Suggest Templates with your Pricing Menu
What it does
If you already have a pricing menu set up, you can also generate AI-matched templates directly from there. This helps link individual services in your pricing menu to the most relevant service schedule templates.
How to use it
Navigate to Services & Pricing.
Click the three dots menu next to your pricing menu.
Choose Service Schedules.
At the top of the screen, click Suggest Templates.
Socket will use AI to match the selected service with the most appropriate service schedule template.
Confirm the suggested template to link it to the service.
This approach ensures your pricing menu and service schedule templates are aligned, so when you generate engagement letters, the right schedules are automatically applied based on the services selected in a proposal.
Please note, using Engage Quickstart tool will only work if you have the Socket Engage add-on, however the Suggest Templates feature is available to all subscribers regardless of package or add-ons.
Tips for Best Results
Make sure your pricing menu is up-to-date before using these suggestions, the quality of recommendations depends on the services you have defined.
Review suggested templates before confirming them to ensure they match your firm’s service definitions.
You can always edit generated templates afterward if you want to fine-tune wording or service descriptions.
