The Letters page lists every engagement letter, supplementary letter, broadcast notification and disengagement letter your practice has created, in one place. It's where you see what's still out with clients, what's bounced, and how a particular letter template is doing.
Select Letters in the left hand menu.
What the list shows
Each row is one letter, with the document, its related proposal and version, the client, the status, the type of letter, and its date. Select a row to open the letter.
The three dots menu next to New holds Import and Export. Tick rows and Bulk Actions appears, for sending several letters at once. Both are covered in Importing and Bulk Sending Engagement Letters.
Finding the letters you want
Across the top:
Search for a client or letter.
Status narrows to drafts, pending letters, signed letters and so on. Bounced lists the pending letters whose email didn't get through, the ones shown in red; pick Bounced and Pending together to see every pending letter.
Letter Type picks engagement, supplementary, broadcast or disengagement letters.
Template narrows to the letters built on one letter template, including letters on its older versions. Type part of the template's name to find it, and clear it with the x.
Assigned to Me keeps just your own letters.
Clear Filters resets them all.
The stats tiles
Five tiles above the list give you the position at a glance, and they follow whatever filters you've set, so filtering to one template shows you that template's figures:
Drafts: letters created but not yet sent.
Out for Signature: letters sent and waiting on the client.
Bounced: pending letters whose email didn't reach the client, so they need resending once the address is fixed.
Signed: letters the client has approved.
Sign Rate: signed letters as a share of those sent.
If you'd rather have the list alone, Hide Stats tucks the tiles away and Socket remembers that for you; Show Stats brings them back.
