Editing your T&C’s and Privacy Policy

These templates are divided into sections for easy navigation and any changes you make are tracked, ensuring visibility and allowing you to revert to the original template if needed.

You can easily make edits to the sections by clicking on them to expand.

Within the editor, you can insert additional dynamic tags (see the Dynamic Tag section below), or make edits to the existing content. Engagement letters use dynamic tags to link to your T&Cs, privacy policy, and service schedules.

When making any changes, it will highlight the original content and enable you to ’Revert to Original’ which will remove any changes.

Displayed on the section headers are any sections that have been edited or deleted. By clicking into the sections you can see the content blocks that have been edited.

You can ‘Revert Changes’ before saving or ‘Save changes’ to complete editing. You’ll still have the opportunity to ‘Reset to Default’ afterwards to discard any changes made and revert to the original template.

Dynamic Tags

By using Dynamic Tags, this approach ensures that updates to these documents are automatically reflected in new engagement letters without requiring re-issuance.

For example: If you update your T&Cs, the new version is immediately available via the engagement letter’s embedded link, used by Socket's "Dynamic Tag" system that allows you to include this inside the documents that get generated.

Once you are comfortable with your documents, move onto creating your Engagement Letters and Service Schedules.
